White Party 2024 was bigger and better than ever... we hope you'll join us again next year!

White Party FAQs

Trillium Health’s White Party is our largest annual fundraising event - and party! Funds raised during this event support our mission to provide extraordinary care for all, including LGBTQ+ health, ensuring equitable, judgement-free and affordable care.

The only part of the White Party that is traditional gala-like is the fundraising piece! The space, entertainment, attire, and energy is unlike any other in Rochester.

Several different varieties of a “white party” began in the early 1980’s, with one most notable in Miami as a benefit for an HIV/AIDS prevention non-profit. Donning a white outfit was considered to create equity amongst attendees and was adopted early on by a wave of support by communities of color. As iterations varied through the decades, the connection to HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment remains a mainstay. Trillum Health held their first White Party in 2012 and continues to do so as a means to support the mission and vision of the organization.

There are several opportunities to attend! Sponsorship comes in many different levels and includes a variety of perks and benefits depending on the level you choose; whether it’s you personally, or an organization/company you are affiliated with. There is also the option to purchase individual tickets.

White! Or any variation of such. The rest is up to you! There have been shorts, there have been tuxedos, and there has been everything in between. Think all-white summer glam and you’ll be set!

Having cash on hand is a great idea. Not only do we do a cash call of some sort but to be able to tip the fantastic wait staff and entertainers that we have during the course of the evening.

Yes! Often, there are heavy hors d’oeuvres, a buffet dinner, and an open bar

There are many different options when it comes to parking. We offer valet, there is a parking garage we partner with, and street parking is always available.
