Meet Dr. Sarah Bolduc

meet Dr. Sarah Bolduc

We sat down with Dr. Bolduc and asked her a few questions about Pathway Pediatrics!

Q: How long have you been at Trillium Health and what brought you here?
A: I’ve been at Trillium since 2018, and I was really excited to work with diverse populations. I see both kids and adults – people of all ages, from many different backgrounds.

Q: What is your favorite part of the day?
A: It’s definitely taking care of patients. I like not knowing what’s behind the door – I like the variety! I enjoy being there for people – whether someone’s having a great day and they’re really excited, or whether something stressful or sad just happened in their life. No two days are the same.

Q: What drew you into medicine in the first place?
A: I’ve always loved science, but I really liked working with people, so I was looking for a way to combine them. Medicine seemed like a good fit.

Q: What have been some of the challenges?
A: Some of our patients are in troubled situations, and it’s really eye-opening and humbling. It makes me remember what's important in life and it keeps me grounded. I’ve been working with this population for 10 years now, and I couldn’t see myself doing anything else.

Q: What would you tell a person who's considering Pathway Pediatrics?
A: We take great care of our patients, and we meet everyone where they are. We aren’t judgmental, we’re kind, and we’re happy to see our patients. All of our doctors are top-notch, and everybody is continually learning. We have a huge heart.

Q: Would you recommend the Pfizer vaccine for children over the age of 12?
A: Yes definitely. We know it’s safe. We know COVID-19 is scary and it causes a lot of comorbidities, including possibly death. We know that it's not going away on its own, and we need to get shots in arms. I would definitely be giving the shots to my young children if it was available for them (they’re currently too young).

Q: Can you see patients of all ages?
A: Yes! I can see children at Pathway Pediatrics and adults at Monroe Avenue – we can make it work! I can also do video visits.
