Ada Vox and Thea Austin to take the stage on July 15, 2023
May 4, 2023 (Rochester, NY) – Ada Vox and Thea Austin will take the stage as headliners at the Rochester Pride Festival on July 15, 2023, from 1:00-8:00 p.m. at Cobbs Hill Park. Vox and Austin will be part of a vibrant lineup of music and live performances throughout the day.
About Ada Vox
Ada Vox is an accomplished vocalist, songwriter, and drag queen who found success and pushed boundaries as a contestant on the hit singing competition series American Idol, becoming the first drag artist to place in the top 10 in the show’s history. Ada most recently appeared on Queen of the Universe, the brand-new international drag singing competition, and finished as the runner-up.
About Thea Austin
As a powerful vocalist, producer, lyricist, and international performer, Thea Austin’s music defies categorization and crosses all boundaries. She has been fronting bands, among them the Pop/Dance group SNAP, and honing her vocal skills since she was in her early teens. After Michael Jackson witnessed Thea work the stage, he asked her to be his opening act for the Dangerous Tour and HBO Special, where she played to more than 70,000 fans nightly. When she is not singing, Thea is actively involved with charity work and the fight against HIV/AIDS.
About the Rochester Pride Parade & Festival
The Rochester Pride Parade & Festival will take place on July 15, 2023. The parade will begin at 1:00 p.m. and will travel down Park Avenue. The festival will take place from 1:00-8:00 p.m. at Cobbs Hill Park. It will feature food and drinks, local vendors, games and activities, a VIP area, and more!
