June 30, 2022 (Rochester, NY) – The entertainment lineup has been announced for the ROC Pride Fest, which will be held on Saturday, July 16 from 1:00-8:00 pm at Cobbs Hill Park. The lineup includes:
Headliner: Danielle Ponder
Hosted by: Samantha Vega, DeeDee Dubois, Valentino Rose
Featuring Performances by: Miss Gay Rochester, Mr. and Miss Gay Pride Rochester
Music by: Kaylin Cervini and TAP
Plus, many drag sets, including a dedicated drag king set and a Latin drag show set!
Tickets may be purchased online at rocpridefest.com. General admission tickets are $5 and can be purchased in advance or on the day of the event. There are also a limited number of VIP tickets on sale for $50, which includes access to a VIP tent with liquor sales and a private bathroom. Both tickets can be purchased at rocpridefest.com.
About Rochester Pride
The Pride Parade and Festival are returning to Rochester after a two-year hiatus, in addition to other historical events, such as the Picnic and Flag-Raising Ceremony. The parade will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 1:00 p.m., and will go down Park Avenue. The festival will take place at Cobbs Hill Park immediately after the parade. This year will also mark a major milestone – it has been 50 years since the first organized LGBTQ+ Pride events were held in Rochester.
About the ROC Pride Collective
The ROC Pride Collective is a community-based coalition dedicated to celebrating LGBTQ+ Pride in the Greater Rochester area. The group includes includes volunteers from the LGBTQ+ community and representatives from local nonprofits.
