Tickets on sale for VIP event with Thorgy Thor

December 11, 2024 (Rochester, NY) – Trillium Health and the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) have announced that tickets are now on sale for a special VIP event that will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025, prior to the performance of Thorgy Thor and the Thorchestra.

The VIP event will take place at The Duke (232 East Main Street) from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on February 13. Tickets include a Meet and Greet with Thorgy Thor during the first hour, an open bar, heavy hors d'oeuvres, and a chance to meet other local drag queens. Afterwards, Thorgy Thor and the Thorchestra will perform at 7:30 p.m. in Kodak Hall at Eastman Theater. Tickets for both events can be purchased on this link.

Thorgy Thor shot to international fame after appearing on season eight of RuPaul’s Drag Race (2016) and season three of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars (2018). Since then, she has been traveling the world, bringing to audiences her trademark wit, sense of humor, and musical charm. Thorgy Thor is a classically trained violinist who has performed with the Boston Symphony, Cincinnati Symphony, Pittsburgh Symphony, San Francisco Symphony, Charlotte Symphony, Seattle Symphony, and Oregon Symphony. Senator Jeremy Cooney secured $30,000 to help bring Thorgy Thor to Rochester.

The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) has been committed to enriching and inspiring our community through the art of music since its origins in 1922.
