Gregory Ewing, Chief Compliance Officer

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (Apr. 23, 2018) — Gregory Ewing, J.D., M.P.H., CISSP, is Trillium Health’s new Vice President, Compliance & Regulatory Affairs/Chief Compliance Officer. Mr. Ewing joined Trillium Health in January 2018 and brings extensive experience in HIPAA privacy and security adherence, contract drafting and negotiations, compliance, and entity formation to his position.

“I’m excited that Greg Ewing has joined our team at Trillium Health,” said Andrea DeMeo, President and CEO of Trillium Health. “Greg’s expertise in HIPAA privacy and compliance is an asset to our organization and will help support our ongoing commitment to outstanding patient care.”

Prior to Trillium Health, Mr. Ewing’s roles included compliance officer, privacy officer, HIPAA Security expert, Manager, Information Security – Governance and Compliance and in-house counsel.  He holds a J.D. from Boston University School of Law and an M.P.H. in law and public health from Harvard’s T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Additionally, Mr. Ewing is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), which allows him to provide regulatory advice and direction of information security compliance, an important area given the almost daily cyber-breach announcements and emergence of ransomware.

“I am elated to have become a member of the Trillium Health team. I believe the work this organization does for the members of the Rochester community is critical to ensuring access to health care. To be a part of this team’s mission in ensuring high-quality healthcare is wonderful,” said Greg Ewing.
