The Board of Directors of Trillium Health has completed its search process for a new President and Chief Executive Officer to replace Jay Rudman, who will be retiring at the end of the year. Andrea DeMeo has accepted the position and will begin employment with Trillium Health on January 1, 2015.
Ms. DeMeo is currently the Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of the Center for Community Health at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Prior to her position at URMC, Ms. DeMeo was employed by Visiting Nurse Service of Rochester & Monroe County, Inc., where she began as Agency Administrator and Director of Quality Management, advancing to Vice President of Service Delivery Operations and then to Chief Operating Officer.
Ms. DeMeo is a community leader who brings a history of outstanding accomplishments and service to both the organizations she has served and to the community at large. She is an accomplished fundraiser, directing the University of Rochester’s annual United Way campaigns since 2006 and raising more than $1 million annually for community programs. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the United Way of New York State and the Greater Rochester Chapter of the American Red Cross Board of Directors.
Trillium Health is thrilled that Ms. DeMeo will be joining the organization and looks forward to a bright future under her leadership.
