$80,000 distributed to 30 local groups that support the LGBTQ+ community
April 2, 2025 (Rochester, NY) – The Trillium Health Foundation announced that a total of $80,000 in grant funding will be distributed across more than 30 local groups and organizations that support the LGBTQ+ community. The money was raised from sponsorships, vendor fees, and admissions for the 2024 Rochester Pride Parade and Festival. This is the third year that proceeds from the parade and festival were distributed back in the community to support LGBTQ+ programs and services.
“The Rochester Pride Parade and Festival are about bringing people together and celebrating and supporting our vibrant LGBTQ+ community,” said Jason Barnecut-Kearns, President and CEO of Trillium Health. “There are so many local groups doing this vital work – not just during Pride month, but 365 days a year – and we’re thrilled to be able to help them with these grant funds.”
