ROCHESTER, N.Y. (Nov. 15, 2017) — Trillium Health will celebrate World AIDS Day with a special event Friday, Dec. 1, at Rick’s American Café, ARTISANWorks. The event is from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and tickets are $75 per person. All proceeds from ticket sales will be used to benefit Trillium Health’s work to End the HIV Epidemic by 2020.
The World AIDS Day event will feature a brief program, followed by hors d’oeuvres, live music, an open bar and networking. Dr. Bill Valenti, Trillium Health co-founder and staff physician, will sign his book, “AIDS: A Matter of Urgency,” which tells the riveting story of the emergence of AIDS and its impact on the Rochester community, public health policy and patient care.
Event sponsors include Gilead Sciences, LiDestri Foods and Usherwood Office Technology. Tickets for the event must be purchased in advance at www.trilliumhealth.org. ARTISANWorks is located at 565 Blossom Road, Suite L, in Rochester, New York.
