outreach & education

Outreach, education, and engagement are pillars to supporting a healthy community. We offer a variety of services related to community-based testing, health education, and LGBTQ+ cultural competencies. Our education sessions can be tailored to the audience; we are ready to meet folks where they are and bring our services to them!

Whether you’re thinking of holding a one-time-event and would like us to be involved, or you’re looking for on-going educational opportunities for your clients or staff, we’re here to help meet those needs!

Services:

  • Education sessions & workshops – offered remote or in-person based on current COVID guidelines and safety assessments

    • HIV, Hep C, STI basics

    • HIV prevention: PEP and PrEP

    • LGBTQ+ cultural competency training*

    • LGBTQ+ health education*

    • Harm Reduction Basics education

    • Opioid Overdose Prevention/NARCAN® kits

    • Overview of Trillium Health/MOCHA Center services

  • Tabling

  • Community-based testing (HIV, Hepatitis C, Syphilis, Gonorrhea, Chlamydia)

  • Incentive-based sexual health programs & interventions
