She joined the World Professional Organization for Transgender Health Inc. (WPATH) in 2022 and began Transgender Medicine for adolescents and young adults at Trillium Health Pediatrics in the fall of 2022. She was named Medical Director of Trillium Health Pediatrics in June of 2022.
Dr. Vattana’s professional interests are in puberty education, adolescent medicine and addressing inequities in health education for youth, but she adores caring for patients of all ages! In her spare time, Dr. Vattana enjoys running and indoor cycling as well as traveling, exploring new restaurants and volunteering as a board member of the Laotian American Scholarship Foundation of Rochester. Her favorite part of Rochester is its rich history of progressive thinkers and innovators, and she is thrilled to be able to contribute to Rochester’s future as a pediatrician.
