A statement from Trillium Health President & CEO Andrea DeMeo, in response to the Orlando shooting.
The nation experienced unfathomable loss this past weekend. We are devastated by the senseless act of violence in Orlando, FL. Our hearts and minds ache for those affected by the deadliest mass shooting in American history.
We stand united with our LGBTQ community during such a difficult time. I must re-affirm to our staff and patients that your safety at Trillium Health is our chief concern. Our doors are open – and will remain open – to all of our patients and clients that trust us with their health care.
We are pro-actively addressing the safety of our health care centers, ensuring our patients, staff and visitors feel safe, secure and protected under our watch.
We stand together regardless of race, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin and faith. Trillium Health will do everything we can to support our community during this most difficult time.
